2. How humans think
The way humans think is complex and can vary from person to person, but some general processes can be described. For example, we use our knowledge and past experiences to process the information we receive, using mental models to understand and interpret new information.
We also tend to use mental shortcuts, called heuristics, to make decisions more quickly and efficiently. However, these can also lead to errors in judgment or cognitive biases. This process is called intuitive thinking and results in hunches.
Finally, we can also think more consciously and analytically, weighing the pros and cons of different options and using logic to reach a conclusion. This process is associated with rational thinking.
